About the author


Born into the Russian quality, Count Leo Tolstoy( 1828 – 1910) achieved fame as a novelist, essayist, dramatist, and champion. His sprawling pictures of 19th- century Russian life, as reported in Anna Karenina and War and Peace, constitute his best- known workshop. The spiritual awakening that Tolstoy endured in the 1870s led to a hot grasp of Christ's training, and his jottings on the doctrine of peaceful resistance told innumerous compendiums , including Gandhi and Martin Luther King,Jr.
